A quick glance at the website might make you question why you should pick it over Steam. Its entry page looks perfectly nice, but nothing out of the ordinary. And if you delve deep, you'll soon find the catalogue is smaller than Steam's. However, there's good reason to consider for at least some of your Mac gaming.

GOG Galaxy nicely covers all the functionality you’d expect from a Steam-like gaming client: download and install video games; keep your games up-to-date by automatically downloading the latest updates; browse the store and get new games for your library; scan and import existing games into GOG Galaxy; redeem game keys; chat with your friends; keep track of how much time you spend playing games; earn achievements; use a hotkey to bring up the in-game overlay; take screenshots; and more.

You may not notice that, there are a few of Mac applications that come with dedicated uninstallation programs. Though the method mentioned above can solve the most app uninstall problems, you can still go for its installation disk or the application folder or package to check if the app has its own uninstaller first. If so, just run such an app and follow the prompts to uninstall properly. After that, search for related files to make sure if the app and its additional files are fully deleted from your Mac.
